I’ve been walking outside the last two nights in a quiet quest for orbs. I find myself mentally requesting them to appear, because I know they’re there, but will they reveal themselves?
There is a sense of drifting by, no place in particular to go.
I point my camera into the dark hoping for a revelation.
The orbs are so faint that I only know one has been caught on a branch when I return home to the computer.
And so I must trust that the orbs are there even when unseen at the time of flash.
Then it’s party time and all the orbs I was looking for have gathered at one tree like a flock of birds whooping it up, laughing that they knew where they were all the time.
For those of you who are new to this blog or would like to revisit the explanation as to what orbs are, this might be of help: https://orbsdelight.wordpress.com/2012/10/23/closeup-on-orbs/
These are beautiful photos, Cheyenne!
Is that a faint moon or is that an orb in the second photo below (with the agave)?
Lovely!

Glad you like them, Debra. And, thanks for asking about the agave orb, a few people might be wondering. That photo was taken pointing west and the moon was less than a quarter full in the south at the time the picture was taken
