While questing for orbs, Margo Macartney took this photo of me gazing into the darkness, a blue orb gazing back, with orbs to both sides.
Facing the unknown. An appropriate image as I start my new job working with children and adults who have autism. A change of perspective is on the horizon.
For those of you who are new to this blog, or would like to refresh your memory as to what orbs are, perhaps this will help: https://orbsdelight.wordpress.com/2012/11/17/photographing-orbs
Womderful photo and I’ve worked supporting adults with learning difficulties for 9 yrs now and have never looked back at my career move. Good luck and enjoy ๐ you have the Orbs support ๐

Thank you for your confidence. I used to be the executive director of a homeless shelter. A wonderful time of upgrading the facility with a new roof, paint inside and out, building an office annex to make room for a women’s dormitory and pushing that through despite opposition. By then I was confident enough to face my own shelter needs so I resigned from that intensity to rehabilitate my place (an ongoing project!). Now, just getting off a ladder for a day is a perspective shift!

Challenging, but interesting. I work at a ranch for adults so we have the birds and trees and fresh breezes that make life enjoyable.
