Orbs and the Poets

Once again, Logan Dirtyverbs Phillips brought Palabra Andante to the Bisbee Royale. Poets gathered in hopes of being one of the twelve chosen to read by lottery. Logan is a highly energetic fellow who created energy snake patterns in the air the first time I posted this event. Don’t miss him in the last photo of this post.

Suzi Pretty was her usual dry witted self who drew in the orbs as well as the crowd.

orbs SaritaGonzales (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Sarita Gonzales, our guest star poet from Tucson. If you like peanut butter, you might not want to hear this poem. Her flawless memorization was truly a performance to appreciate. The orbs certainly found amusement in her presentation.

orbs Patricia (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Orbs also hung on the words of Patricia’s tale of overcooked vegetables.

orbs Matt (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Matt’s commanding read of a Geri DiGiorno poem really caught the orbs attention. They must have recognized poet laureate quality.

orbs Ruby (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Ruby’s finely crafted poem also received orb attentiveness.

orbs Thayer (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Thayer won the coveted baker’s dozen place at the podium with an earthy poem about God at the grocery store. Not only did the orbs line up to listen, but Logan experienced an energetic shift. What was that all about?

Poetry and the Orbs

A few posts ago I introduced to you the Tucson poet, Logan Dirtyverbs Phillips and Palabra Andante, the Poetry Open Mic at the Bisbee Royale. Here are a few more of the poets from that evening. Next time I’m going to copy the names off the list that Logan is holding up to the audience.

I know Matt as a stoneworker who builds a lot of the walls that hold up our hillsides in Bisbee.

Didn’t realize he was a very outspoken poet as well as stone and orb mover.

Jahfre admittedly loves a microphone and he got a squiggle of an orb attentively listening.

Chris brought humor into the evening.

Once again, Jeri held the audience’s attention and an orb shined brightly on the upper right.

Sarah is part of the Bisbee Royale team who organized the evening of poetry and spoke of realizing herself as she came of age in Bisbee. The orbs circled around in support.

Thank you to the Bisbee Royale for another eclectic evening.

Poetry Orbs

Tonight at the Bisbee Royale was Palabra Andante, a Poetry Open Mic hosted by Logan Dirtyverbs Phillips, the very energetic poet from Tucson, Arizona you see in the above photo.

Nicole, a dress designer, spoke of wearing her white summer dress after labor day.

Jeri McAndrews railed against media devices.

I am really sorry I didn’t get the photo moment when James Coull spit out the word “Blast!” I’m sure the orbs lit up for that sound.

Ruby spoke of hoop dancers and how much she loved circles. The orbs circled for her.

Did I mention that Logan was a dynamic speaker? The orbs were beside themselves snaking through the air.

Roger was just happy to be above ground (apparently an orb was rather pleased with that also), and had no problem accessing his media device.

Suzi Pretty did not think she was the next Allen Ginsberg but I found her delightfully entertaining and she set an orb glowing as well.

The orbs gathered for Ruby once again.
