We are having a snow morning here in Bisbee, Arizona. Offices are opening a few hours later, basically because no one trusts the other person to know how to drive on snow-covered ice.
I thought I’d let you take a look at my neighborhood in daylight. Perched above this cement garage is one of the agave stalks where orbs hover.
The gate that is often an attractor of nighttime orbs.
Looks like the dog has already taken a look into town from our bench.
B Mountain from which the moon rises over our miner shack architecture.
I was watching the snow blow off the rooftops from my kitchen window, and realized a photo opportunity awaited outside.
The distant mountains are in Mexico, whose border is about 12 miles from my house.
The “Old Bisbee” section of town is so steep the post office won’t deliver mail to our houses. The benefit is that the post office is a neighborhood meeting place, giving us endless opportunities to greet each other and exchange pleasantries. It’s why we’re all so gosh darn friendly!
Tried to comment, but it wouldn’t give me a comment box! Just wanted to say thanks for the photos because AGAIN I am gone when it snowed!!

Thanks for working through the comment box blues, Emilie. Snow is melting and icy roads a memory so it’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood for travelers. Hope your travels are all you hoped for!

Yes, we are blessed with a huge sweep of mountains and sky that change with the different lighting throughout the day. Thought you might enjoy a daytime view.

I do like the far horizon view and at the same time being cradled by the mountains.

Thank you, Wanda. We’re amateurs when it comes to winter so we delight in taking time to just enjoy the novelty. More winter savvy residents arrive at work and wonder why they’re the only ones in the office. It is a very fine place to call home.
