If I were a piece of your puzzle what hole would I fill?

Am I part of your landscape

the moss on the side of a tree

a petal among the flowers

the underside of a cloud?

If I were a piece of your puzzle where do you need me?

Am I your mirror

you glance at for reassurance

the thought you are reaching for

or the dream you’ve forgotten?

If I were a piece of your puzzle are you still searching

where to place me

or have you lost me under the table?

Have you slid me

easily into your picture

or do you suspect

I’m part of another world

you dare not enter?

By stealth, orbs enter unawares.

Are you prepared?

The forest is wonderfully dark at night. Spooky with possibilities. And, yes, there are orbs as well.

Pale orbs among the tallest trees, cautious in their observance of the newcomer.

Sometimes lurking at the edge of a tree trunk, a little shy amongst the smoke of a fireplace.

Perhaps the newcomer isn’t so bad, let’s take a close look.

What orb can resist going for a walk with the dog?

Pale orbs overhead in the trees.

Might be the moon, if the moon had been full last night.

Why is the lone tear drop orb, always on the upper left?
