Frost in the desert is a cause for celebration and race for the camera before it all melts away. The delight of today is ice crystals!

Usually the frost on our cars is flat, not these spiky crystals.

There were tufted areas on the glass that you can see on the upper right.

Couldn’t resist the snake  totem.

  1. I am aware of climate changing, perhaps right here, 20 years ago, at least 15-20 degrees lower.
East coast in December used to be COLD and now is not very cold. Should I be happy? or should I be worry?

    1. I’m not happy when there isn’t enough snow to go cross country skiing, which is my favorite way of getting into the forest and watching the snow glisten and checking out the animal tracks to see who is in the neighborhood.

  2. You know? I love ice crystals, possibly because I live in a temperate climate region, no snow here. We are in late spring, almost summer time here, and we are going from tropical weather to autumn days so fast, but if there are orbs around I think I enjoy it as well. I loved all the photos, especially the last one.

      1. Oh yes, those boots are still made in various departments of the country, in the countryside, those who use them say they are eternal 🙂 Well, it’s summertime here, but doesn¡t feel like that, at least on these days
