Orbs and the Poets

Once again, Logan Dirtyverbs Phillips brought Palabra Andante to the Bisbee Royale. Poets gathered in hopes of being one of the twelve chosen to read by lottery. Logan is a highly energetic fellow who created energy snake patterns in the air the first time I posted this event. Don’t miss him in the last photo of this post.

Suzi Pretty was her usual dry witted self who drew in the orbs as well as the crowd.

orbs SaritaGonzales (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Sarita Gonzales, our guest star poet from Tucson. If you like peanut butter, you might not want to hear this poem. Her flawless memorization was truly a performance to appreciate. The orbs certainly found amusement in her presentation.

orbs Patricia (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Orbs also hung on the words of Patricia’s tale of overcooked vegetables.

orbs Matt (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Matt’s commanding read of a Geri DiGiorno poem really caught the orbs attention. They must have recognized poet laureate quality.

orbs Ruby (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Ruby’s finely crafted poem also received orb attentiveness.

orbs Thayer (c) Cheyenne MacMasters 2013

Thayer won the coveted baker’s dozen place at the podium with an earthy poem about God at the grocery store. Not only did the orbs line up to listen, but Logan experienced an energetic shift. What was that all about?

    1. Thanks, Uzoma. It was interesting watching the orbs reacting to the poets on my view screen. They showed up for quality and disappeared during the boring moments. Hehe to understanding 🙂 !

  1. I love your shares here; two of my favorite things – orbs and poetry. My friend had an orb post yesterday – if you have time 🙂 Thank you so much for your sharing, Cheyenne – an inspiration! I once passed through your town, a long time ago, while in Arizona for a wedding. The arts and community interaction seem so lovely through your lens!

    1. Funny thought! But it reminds me that I dreamed of orbs last night appearing in a new photographers photos, first a few, and then more, and then the swirling clouds like you first found.
