Orbs Love Blogs of the Year

Blog of the Year Award 6 star jpegOrbs Andy T - Nick Nixon BandOrbs Party Tree

It has been an eventful year for orbs, you and I discovered that they are everywhere! And, guess what, they brought us together wondering and marveling at their existence. One thing I’ve discovered about orbs is that they are very social. They like events such as musical performances, they like parties, and they like it when the whole family walks the dog. Remember that next time you are out for a walk with friends or enjoying a performance.

So, let’s ring the bell and celebrate the gifts that orbs have brought to our lives, not just mine. You found me and I found you and the world is better for our knowing of each other’s existence. Two gifts have recently come to me from across the great waters: Poèmes Français & Anglais, Poems French & English by Gys, and Uzuma of 85 Degrees have each nominated me for Blog of the Year 2012!! They join Motion Photography, Wanda of Ale Książki/And Yet the Books, My Secret Love for You, and Jacquie Bloggera in making an orbs delightful gifting from all over the world.

Please visit Gys at http://lgyslaine.wordpress.com/ for poems of love and longing in both French and English. Some might make you cry, many will make you smile if you have been so lucky to love so well.

For a look at a writer’s love for his Nigerian culture, please visit Uzuma at: http://85degrees.wordpress.com/ you will find a profoundly caring man who will open your heart as he reveals his world.

Now for the drum roll of this very ingenious award created by the folks at The Thought Palette:

The “Blog of the Year” award is a little different from some other awards, because you accumulate stars. Here is a link to go to for more information about this award: ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/

Here are the ‘rules’ for this award:

1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award

2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.

3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/ and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)

4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them.

5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience.

6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…

Yes – that’s right – there are stars to collect!

Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once – this award is different!

When you begin you will receive the ‘1 star’ award – and every time you are given the award by another blog – you can add another star!

There are a total of 6 stars to collect.

Which means that you can check out your favorite blogs, and even if they have already been given the award by someone else, then you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!

For more information check the FAQ on The Thought Palette.

Being honored by such a stellar group of writers, artists, photographers, and compassionate people, gives me the opportunity to continue to pass a star onto a few more blogs who have expanded my perceptions of the world. My nominations for Blog of the Year 2012 Award are:

1) Poèmes Français & Anglais, Poems French & English by Gys for the love she shares with the world in each and every poem she writes.

2) Ripley Connor at http://ripleyconnor.com/ for assimilating human/alien/terminator personas with such passion and verve while being stylishly dressed.

3) Emilie Vardaman at http://emilievardaman.wordpress.com/ for a great appreciation of southwestern culture in the United States and Mexico.

Well deserved! May your stars shine forth lighting up whatever part of the galaxy tickles your fancies.

    1. Thank you. I was totally amazed after I took the tree picture and saw just how many orbs had gathered at a tree in a pretty much deserted field. This is the party tree used by hot air balloonists for years and years. They seem to know us and what is about to take place.

  1. My goodness! This keeps getting better and better. Thanks for the honour yet again, my dear friend. Yes, you’re right I do write about my culture and people…African people (to the best of my knowledge). And what a recognition you have me. It’s so, so wonderful. I’ll let it rest with me. To the orbs now…

The ones around the tree are magnificent–like the snap is taken out of this world. I enjoy your blog a lot. It’s a novel adventure to me.

    1. To honor someone is to expand one’s own horizons. And, it’s fun! Thank you for your interest in the orbs. One wonders if there might be a “ho hum another orb” reaction. The tree orbs were a total surprise to find them on my view screen after taking the photo in a dirt field in the dark of dawn. Who knew the desert was so popular with unseen entities?

  2. Wow!! Blog of the year??? Thank you so much for reading the silly things I have to say! I’ll write my posts about the awards soon! I’m visiting my terminator aunt in Cleveland, not a fashionable city at all!! She seriously needs fashion advice but hates my suggestions. Keep bringing the orbs! You do realize those are images of ghost aliens, right?

    1. Silliness has its own charm. Do you realize how hard it is to find comedies these days!?! I once accused someone of being an alien, then remembered I was alien too. Darn! Had to retract the accusation!!! Ghost aliens? Ha!
